Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive Data Engineer to design, implement, and maintain efficient data pipelines and data warehouse solutions. This role is ideal for someone with a solid technical foundation in data engineering who is eager to develop scalable systems that support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, optimize, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
- Design and manage data warehouse solutions to support reporting and analytics.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all systems.
- Automate data workflows and processes to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to deliver data solutions that meet business needs.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to maintain system performance.
- Document data processes, workflows, and system architecture.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Solid experience with SQL and programming languages such as Python.
- Hands-on experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or similar).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for data storage and processing.
- Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and best practices.
- Basic knowledge of workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices for data workflows.
- Familiarity with data modeling and database design.
- Understanding of data security and governance principles.
